Quite urban in nature, Christian Rizzo has long dreamt of creating an artistic and poetic stroll through a garden.
His artistic projects and objects tend to thrust the spectator into a hypnotic, other-worldly state of contemplation and dreams using dramatic "effects" (lighting, sound, costumes and props).
Un mensonge (deux nuits d'ete)is a strange creation, featuring both visual and sound effects.
In the pitch black night in a garden, a light appears gradually from afar, proving to be a mysterious creature as it comes closer.
Born in the garden, a spirit or genie, the creature comes and goes as it likes, only revealing itself to our view when light passes through it.
Gerome Nox's musical accompaniment fills the night space with a progressive layer of sound, from the tiny crystalline noises to a huge electronic bass wave.
