production : l'association fragile

In some words, why actually it’s important for me to move to taipei artist village
For the last 3 years, between my choreographic productions, i try to move to other country and others contexts to open the field of my different works
In this way, I had the opportunity to do 3 trips in Vietnam and Honk-Kong to capture images (video and pictures) in collaboration with the video artist Sophie Laly. Our result will be this year include in an installation for a gallery.
In Taipei, I would work in two directions : First, I would like to create a databank with images, sound, cartography and volumetrics captures from the town. Trying to get a feed-back from the temporality and the daily gesture connecting with the building environment.
The translation of theses signs (out of context) to forms will create a space for my body exploration as a ritual. Then it will become the foundation and the material for a performative dramaturgy, an exhibition.
This work is for me the possibility to think about the notion of the mouvement crossing daily and fundamental needs, urbanism and culture. How the body (and identity) in a never ending loop, appear and disappear in connection with space. Body fragmentations let appear emptiness‚ spaces for imagination, rituals for our own behavior .
During the period of construction for visible presentation, i would like to organize some workshops connecting with my research. It will be open to dancers and visuals artists (professionals or not), getting exchange with people from Taipei and with the other artist in residency.
